Steve has one of the most capable Liberty in the Florida LOST Group. With his truetrac front and limited slip rear, lift, and tires he can go about anywhere. Maybe my CRD will be like that one day!!

I totally forgot that we had our own section now. I had gotten so used to looking at everyone else's section. Good thing I did cause I see we have a trail ride coming up. I have my new tires too so I'm ready.

and check the pics of the march run a while back. Very nice I might add.

Anyway, I thought I would jump in here an add a little intro. I met alot of you for the first time after my buddy wes (redjeepcrd) invited us along on the trail run in March in ONF. That was a great time. I was the one driving the "mosqiuto fogger" or toyota that was smoking alot. btw I have since remedied that well almost anyway. I just wanted to also say a little Thanks for letting us ride with you guyz. Not only did we have a great time, I enjoyed the very family friendly atmosphere that this group promotes. It is always fun to ride with a diverse group of vehicles and get to check out everyone's capabilities. I will gladly like to ride again sometime with you all and maybe once my wife is not quite so pregnant she will be able to join in the fun as well.

I don't have a KJ only a WJ and the yota. The WJ is my wifes although I was the one who picked it out (02 Overland with all the options). She is the one who drives it. I originally bought it with the intention of building it, but my eyes were bigger than my wallet and I already had the yota. So I am gonna wheel the yota for a while.

Lol, thanks rick, though the real one probably can keep parking tickets off much better. Did you get your rig all fixed? That sucks about your cv boot.

:D Where do I sign! I thought I was the only one LOST down here.
Wilma postponed our move to Colorado. So its great to know I can finally do a LOST trail ride in my home state!

If you need help with a logo I'd be glad to help.

there isn't really any formal signing up required to participate....however we did agree to behave in a civil manner both on trail rides and also here on the forum....I suppose we'll adopt a few sensible practices such as having a "vital information" sheet for each participant on trail ride day that has phone numbers, health issues, etc. in case of emergency....and we'll probably establish a minimum equipment list for things like first aid kits, tow hooks, spare tires....that kind of thing....

we decided to forego any fees for the forseeable future....if there are t-shirts or stickers to purchase, then everyone will pay for those at the time they become available....I believe we decided to allow "mud-trac" and "kick-it" to serve as the leaders of our chapter for the sake of representing us before the national leadership....

so we're basically a peer-pressure directed group.....family friendly and law abiding....if you want to read the old ocala ride discussion thread from the "upcoming trail rides" section.....we discuss some of the behaviors that we want to exclude.....it's just common sense stuff....we won't be interested in suffering as a group for the sake of a fool....

we plan to exist as a real world trail ride group....to me that means this forum chatter is a reflection of real people....I think I'd suggest here that if you are new to this downright lost section, then include some general information in your first comments to allow us to become familiar with you.....for instance, what is your name?.....what city?.....so I'll take the fellow that just posted as an example....you might start out with a "hey, I'm bob from pennsylvania moving to panama city soon....my forum nickname is from a funny experience...."

and I choose to include my name in my signature so that you know who I am as well....that's just my opinion though....

regardless of what I think about all this, I'm just one of the many here....welcome if you just got here....

greetings to Florida DR Lost group. Glad to see we have one for Florida. I have PM'd with a couple of you and been welcomed. I live in Melbourne, Central East Coast. I will be installing my Daystar 2.5 lift and MTRs/ Moabs within 2 weeks. I can't wait!! I just need 5 hours of uninterrupted time and a buddy's strut compressor from his work. Hope to hit a trail with you soon after. Scott

Hey John,
