Allright, since WRs are not available, we are in good shape. :)

I also checked Fuzion tires, they got nice pattern on the Fuzion XTi
http://www.thefuzionzone.com/xti.asp

Any luck with these tires? I know AZKJ running them, but not for long, and since he doesn't have much snow there we are not gonna get any feedback on winter performance.

Update:

Found out more about Nokian Tires,

I spoke to Tire Factory.
They have $155 per tire on the Vatiivas
and have $176 per tire on WR's

includes shipping to me, no tax.
I also wanted to confirm with them, they said WR s are also all year around tires, and has snow hazard symbol allows them to drive on the worst conditions, while retaining dry traction and all year round usability.

Called STS auto, they gave me a bit cheaper price, mounted.
However it seems like WRs are out of stock or backordered. Since I like deeper tread pattern (to be ready for off-road, if i EVER get some) I would like to stick to vatiivas. (instead of paying way more $$ direct, plus additional cost for getting them mounted)

Here are a pair of pix of them installed on a grand cherokee, courtesy of our friends over at jeepsunlimited. has white or black sidewall.

Anyone running the BFG Mud Terrain "BFGoodrich Tires MUD-TERRAIN T/A KM2 245/75R16 E "?

I have the BFG AT KOs on everything else and really like them as everyday tires on my truck(s), but I have a set of MTRs on the KJ that I have been using as my "off road" tires and they are in need of replacment.

I'd stick with M/T R Kevlar tires myself.
Stronger sidewalks than BFG's and better tread compound IMO.
