You sure you got IROKs? Interco doesn't list any IROK sizes smaller than 33s and none of their tire models come in 245/75s. That's just whats on their website.

Irok ND??? Thats a new one, tread is different than the regular IROK as well, I have 39.5's on my toyota, the side lugs are directional like a a bogger. Hmmm, ND = non-directional I imagine.

Looks like a good tire.

But who is making these? Are they true Interco tires? I've seen some cheesy Super Swamper imitations, but these look like the real deal...but it doesn't make sense because Interco's website doesn't list any tire model in size 245/75R16. Maybe their webiste is out of date. I'm gonna e-mail them.

They may offer them by special agreement with specific vendors. On a recent trip to Big O, I found that they offer the Mickey Thompson ATZ radial SLT in a size (245/70/17) not shown on the MT website. The MT website shows only the regular ATZ radial in that size. The folks at Big O said that they are getting them through a special agreement with MT.

I can't wait to see them on a KJ. I hope they become available to the public soon. When my current tires wear down, I'm planning on getting some A/Ts on my stock rims and then getting steel rims and some true offroad tires. I've been looking at the Super Swamper LTB, but hearing about the IROKs being available in a size that would work great for the KJ makes me very excited.

thats kind of my though im gonna have an extra set of stock xj rims which i may get saome regular street tires to use for day to day try to get some more life out of the iroks. form what im reading you cant expect much more then about 25 to 30 thousand but nobody even commits to that much. probly leave the spare irok on though so i can tell people ive got em lol. im sure anxious to get them it looks like ill either have them monday or the next week as my buddy has to get them from houston when he goes home on the weekends.
on a side note i took my wheel well liners out of the fron and need to pound the pinch weld some more as when truning theres a point where you only have about an 18 inch of clearance on the wrangler mtrs and dont want to be cutting my iroks up on that. so need to break out the bfh this week.
ill definitely post pics as soon as i get them

Have seen a few sets tested here in the Pac NW in the last week. They reported that they were very similar to the originals, but had a bit more traction in both directions and they think they run quieter too on the road. There are some pics on the web now I'm told also.

ok finally went to houston and got them im tickled pink..... [img][/img][img][/img][img][/img]five of these will exactly fit in the back of your liberty... they look nice and the tread feels similair in density or softness to my wrangler mtrs.... well see how wear is though. i will get them mounted up wednesday im thinking. also the guy has another set which can be had for 450 dollars plus shipping or you pick em up.... thats a great deal i think.. only 25 more then i paid.

jereosbou,
I have a favor to ask of you. Could you found out where the guy you got your IROKS from gets them? It's obviously a new, rare size, but I can tell those are going to make your KJ amazing offroad. I want to get some Interco tires on steel rims for summer offroading, and the 245/75R16 IROKS would be my choice over what I know is available, like 31x10.5 LTBs.
