Tirerack.com is selling 225/75 Destination MTs for $113 each. With shipping that is $525 for a set of them to my door. You guys paying $700+ dollars for them must either be replacing your spare also, or getting ripped off, one of the two.

I really like the look of that Destination MT and I think I might just get a set of those for my CRD this winter.

Always replace the spare too
what if you get a flat?
want to use smaller tire when replacing?
new spare is a must

I paid $600 for all 5 mounted and balanced, same size as you. Here's a shot of them.

I miss the way the look, but I'm happy with the Revo's too.

Here's a copy of the original post about these from the old EZ board. I moved it over here when we changed sites.

Hope this helps!

So you paid about $5 less per tire than tirerack.com sells them for. Good deal. Thanks for the pic...that helps us see what they look like!! I love pics!! I'm really loving the look of that Firestone MT. I think I like it better than the BFGs.

For the guy who said you must replace all 5....nope. My stock size is 225/75-16. So if I go with MTs I'll get 4 225/75-16s. That way my factory spare will still get me home if I ever need it and it'll save me $125.
