Most of the rocks here in NV are friggin sharp I guess but it isn't like they are worse than CA, CO, or AZ. They just got really cut up and eventually (fairly quickly) they were missing big chunks of rubber from the treads. I could have driven them longer than 10,000 but they were impossible to balance at that point so they just got worse and worse. Louder and louder, more and more vibration. Never gonna buy em again.
HHMMMM,you just don't like any tires.
After 3 sets of MT/R's with all going over 30,000miles and still having over 1/3 tread left with the last set getting grinded on the granit here in CO I had no cuts or flats ever.No balancing issues at all and they held there balance better than any tire I ever had before.I would highly recommend them for any terrian, they kick butt in mud no matter what anyone says, like any other tire you need some wheel spin to clean them out. They are best under a heavy rig also.I would have gotton them for my SFA swap but due to the Iraq and Afganistan wars finding 35" MT/R's is next to impossible so after the advice of some hardcore wheelers I chose the Toyo Open Country MT's after they swore by MT/R's and found the Toyo's beat the MT/R's on the rocks hands down.
Oh and your wrong about the Toyo's,there 100 times better then the Trxus MT's I'm running now. These Trxus MT's are shot after 15,000 miles, won't balance at all, won't wear right at any psi and a perfect alignment, don't like going under 15psi without beadlocks, have fairly weak sidewalls, and are very unimpressive on rocks. They where okay at first but a nightmare now.At least I ran them know instead of getting them for my SFA swap, which was kinda the whole idea,to see if I liked them and if they where worth a darn, well they are not.
