You can get the Firestone tires a $100 cheaper than the BF Goodrich, what do you think? |

I have the Destination A/T on my KJ and BFG A/T on my chevy truck. If you draw a parallel of the A/T and M/T then I would go with the Firestones. I like them a LOT better than the BFGs. Thats my 2 cents... |

No experience with the Firestones but I got my BFG MTs for a little over $109 mounted/balanced at Sams. They really bite and are not tooooo noisy. Great wet road traction too compared to my stockers. Big surprise..... |

No experience with the Firestones but BFGs are some of the best tires you can buy. The sidewall design will put up with a lot more abuse than tires with more sidewall plys. I have run BFGs on every truck I have ever owned that had a tire 35" and smaller, and will continue to use them. As soon as I find some monkey to buy these Goodyears off my KJ, it will get a set of BFG ATs. |

Go with the Baja champs baby. BFGs rock the party....both good tires though. |

I think BFG's reputation is keeping them on top right now, They have been a good tire for such a long time that they have gathered quite a following. Hopefully that is not what is driving the price of them though. I hate to pay extra for a name, even if it is a superior product, I dont mind paying for the better product but sometimes I feel like BFG=$$$ the same as BMW=$$$. |

I have had both the BFG AT and MT when I had my KJ. I loved the MT's. I was getting traction where the Firestone's wernt. |

I have the Firestone A/T on, they do awesome in all conditions. I would get the Firestone's. Or as another option, you could look at the General Grabbers AT2. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp ... abber+AT+2 |

I would say the BFGs, they are excellent on and off road. They self clean i went through mud holes and running water crossings with 2wd and never got stuck. The road noise is like an AT so they are not as noisy as the firestones b/c when i was at the firestone store they compared it to super swampers. Also the BFGs will last a long time when you rotate them. |

Any MT should last a while with regular rotations. Heck, do it every time you get an oil change. It only takes about 20 minutes to do. |
