No feedback on these huh? Hmmm, they are either a bad choice in tire or I have over posted and people are sick of my tire questions. Lets hope it's not that!

I'm getting a set of Discovery M+S 235/70/16's. They seem to be geared towards mud and snow and do well in wet

Jeeplikens

I have had them (the ATR's) on for a little while now and I really do like them a lot. For the price, you truely cant beat them and I love the look!

Let me know what you decide on and how you make out, good luck!

Well, I made the move. Can't believe the POS gy's were pretty much shot with 25k on'em. I was sleeping (I work nights this month) when BIG O called and said they were in. Wife took the KJ in got'em installed. They look nice. I was a little concerned since I don't have a lift that they may rub in the front. But I put the front end up on a retaining wall till my "articulation" was maxed out. Got out and looked. They cleared the fender flares very well. The cool thing was the grip. Man, I don't think I would have done that with those GY's. Now, can't wait for the snow. Not sure how that "snow on snow" idea works (as stated on coopers website). But guess they say it's better then "rubber on snow" concept. I didn't realize the tread was so deap too. I sorta bought them sight unseen, excpet pic's on the cooper website. They do look better and give the kj a little more "can do" look. Can't wait to take it camping.

I agree the website doesnt do them justice, seeing them in person makes a world of difference. I was debating between those and Firestone Destination AT's, I thought these were a better value based on price and they have good reviews. I almost cracked and got the Cooper HT at the shop but I remembered reading that they werent good in the snow and they really didnt look to different than the OEM tires.

I dont know what the snow on snow vs rubber on snow thing is, I will have to hit the website and check it out. I'm in the same boat as you are cant wait for snow or heavy rain (mud factor) to test these out, light offroad and highway have been great so far though.
