I got 5 of the tires for $70 each (one brand new, other 4 with < 200 miles) from somebody on rubicon owners forum. I got a 6th tire for $50 (brand new on a cherokee rim).

Got them mounted at NTB, it was $20 a tire for "llight truck" (they quoted me $16.50 on the phone, but I assume that was for a car). That includes lifetime rotations, which I'll be taking advantage of. NTB is right on my way home from work, is open until 8pm, and they do walk-in service.

I was expecting a little rubbing on the pinch weld, but I found the major rubbing to instead be on the plastic shroud in the front of the wheel well here:

It's fine when going forward and even turning forward, but turning in reverse makes everyone in and around the car stop and stare while I park. This does not bode well for the boston driver, where every parking spot is parallel (I found this out last night parking downtown).

Suggestions for fixing that plastic up front? Should I just cut it off, or find some way to pull it forward?

a dremel is your friend.

We have the same model KJ, and Mine was exactly like yours, rubbing in the front and pinch weld fine. I took away the entire lower lip, and bit into the area of the fender liner and the bumper right in front of the tire, which makes a gap between the liner and the bumper, but isn't visible unless you are down there.

The pinch weld was fine, until it reared its ugly head in Moab and I had to pound it in the middle of Metal Masher. The lift settled on that trail enough that I began to get some crazy rubbing. All better now with some trimming and pounding.

Only thing that is different is I have more backspacing with my Moabs, so you may have to do more or less trimming.
