Anyone having trouble with their E-rated REVOs cupping?

Anyone else out there running the E-rated REVOs?

I've had mine on for maybe two years, close on 40k. Still plenty of
tread. Been rotated every 5k at the dealer (although perhaps only
front to back and not side-to-side, according to the dude at Big-O).

I can't figure it out. The car's almost as noisy as a diesel!

Your rotation pattern is part of the problem. You need a cross pattern to reverse the spin direction and even-out the natural "heel-toe" cupping effect. Most recommend front to rear (straight back on same side) and cross the rears to the opposide side front. This should even things out for you in a couple of rotations.

I have just under 30K on mine with no issues. I also rotate every other oil change (6K). When you rotate, do you use the spare?

Alignment, specifically toe-in/out can cause bad cupping if not adjusted properly.

i have the same thing going on, about 32,000 on em, rotated every 5-10,000 miles, every inner tread block on all 4 tires is cupped, a little chip missing from each!!! and noisy as all get out!
i like the tires, but if A/T's are gonna wear like that, my next set may be M/T's....goodrich perhaps

Don't E load range tires require higher pressure? or is that just in a heavy-load situation?

Mainly the rotation pattern that they have been doing, plus after that many miles and no alignment recently could also be it. Once they start cupping nothing you do now will change that.

i ran E rated tires for more than 40k and usually ran them at 25-30. never had any heat issue or flat spotting in the cold.

i also rotate about every 5k or whenever i think about it. where i rotate them too depends entirely on what the wear looks like. but usually if i do it when i want to, i just move the rears to the front and the fronts to the opposite rear corner. i never have any trouble with any tires wearing funny.
