I know the E Load Range has the highest load capacity and therefore the thickest sidewall to prevent against punctures.

However when comparing the C Load Range to the P Metric Standard Load, the P Metric actually has a higher load rating than the C Load Range tires.

Do this mean that the P Metric tires actually have a stronger sidewall than the C Load Range tires. The exact opposite of what I thought.

For example take a look at the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo Specs

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.jsp? ... R6ATREVOWL

P-Metric Standard Load
245/75 SR16 109S SL
Max Load: 2271 lbs

C Load Range
245/75 SR16 108/104S C
Max Load: 2205 lbs

E Load Range
245/75 RR16 120/116R E
Max Load: 3042 lbs

Seems as if the C Load Range tires are not really that great. According to the specs it seems almost as if they are actually thinner than the P-metric.

I was wondering the same thing till I found this:

So, unless I'm reading it wrong, with the P rated tire on a KJ, the load rating is actually 2067 (91% of 2271).

m0th-
That seems to be what they're saying, now does anyone know what the factory rec. load rating is? Can you put "C" load range tires on the KJ or do you need "E" load range tires, and what about tires that don't seem to display a load range rating?
