I just got those and Goodyear Wrangler MTR's 245/75/16.
You will have to do a little surgery on the wheel well of the fronts. That pinch weld in the rear of the front wheel well will need to be bent flat. SIMPLE.
You may have a little rubbing on the front of the wheel well at fulllock. Heat the plastic and push it forward. SIMPLE.
You should put the wheels and tires on first and drive a few miles to get an idea of where all of the rubbing takes place so you can make your adjustments when you play doctor.
This is a small mod. Look for the write-up by AdamisAdam.
- Heatgun
- Mini sledge hammer
- Dremmel - a few cutting wheels - those things break easy!!!
- Rust proofing - spray can of black primer _ I used Krylon's Rust Tough
- Leather gloves
- Eye protection
- Newspapers
- Masking tape - holds the plastic flap, that you cut, out of the way as you work on the hammering
- Some type of rounded edge tool to press on the melted plastic to smooth it out and to help solder/weld the plastic together (if you plan to keep the flap.
- 6-pack of your favorite beverage
- Good tunes
- a picture of your favorite hottie (male or female) on the wall.
