Is anyone running the Yokohama Geolander A/T II. I am looking to replace the OEM tires on my CRD, and am considering the Geolanders or Bridgestone Revo. I am looking for an A/T that is not to noisy that is good in the snow and wet weather. Will 255/70/16 fit on a CRD without any lift? I know the tire chart indicates it will not fit but there are a couple of earlier posts that indicate they will fit.

I just got a set of Geolander A/T IIs put on last week and have already gone on a run with them:

They do fine on the road, no extra noise at speeds up to 75mph, and the grip off-road seems to be very good. No idea yet on how they handle in rain or snow, but I'm sure I'll find out this winter.

The tread on those is very similar to my Revos, so I would bet that they're excellent on wet pavement, on ice, and in light snow.

I was seriously considering the Geolanders, but the Costco had a really good sale on the Revos.

Had to think for a minute, then it hit me: N8 has a red Libby and Troysterr has a white one. Yeah, it almost could have been you, but we had a blue one too:

I put a set of Geolanders on my Chev 1500.
This was right after the thanksgiving snow storm in Michigan last year. Finished out one of the heaviest snow fall winters in Mi with tham. Held the road real good.

They really bite in the mud but also have a good ride and sound (although I have a 6.5 diesel with straight pipe) I have always been a BFG KO person, but these geolanders have me impressed. Just waiting for my Daystar lift on the CRD befor I make my move.

i was going to to with the Geolanders but went with the general grabber at2 instead. tirerack had a sale price of 87 bucks per tire and i just couldnt pass it up.

from everything i have read the Geolanders is a great tire. after seeing a few i'm glad i got my grabbers. they are little more agressive and have more of square tread cap (i like the look). the other selling point (over the Geolander) was the 60k tread wear.

i you want a more agressive option look into the general grabber at2. mine are 255/70-16 and i love them. the wife hasnt complained yet, so i'm guessing i'll be keeping them ;)

Well I got five new Geolanders 245/70/16. I really like the way they look on the liberty, makes it look like a real jeep. Thanks for all the input I think I am going to be very satisfied with these tires.

I'd be interested to hear how any of these tires resist sidewall punctures. Out here in AZ that's very important.

I've used the ATs and they're great all around but if you're looking for maximum traction in mud, snow, or rocks then go with the Geolander MTs. I just switched earlier this year, from BFG Muds to the Geo MTs and I'm happier with both on and offroad performance.
