I just put 285/60/18 on my lib limited, I had to do a little mod work in fender wells to keep the rubbing to a minimum. I will be posting pics soon this thing look like the bees nees. This lib will be used for hunting and off roading. It currently has a 3.5 rock krawler lift and i will be raising the rear end another 1.5 inches. I look real tough i hope to have some pics real soon |

pictures - we want pictures a 285/60/18 works out to 11.6x32 so you're as tall as the 265x75x16 folks and about an inch wider so expect a lot of rubbing - but keep us updated |

u are correct i had some issues coming in with the rubbing. Right now the biggest issue is with the rear end. I am rubbing on the very inner edge og the fender well. I am going to raise the back of the jeep about another inch to get it the same level as the front, I think that with a small amount of fender trimming should get it. My question is whether or not a longer bump stop would help in reducing the travel of the rear end? I can not find any longer bumps for the liberty and i am not for sure if that would work anyway. What it comes down to is that i am bull headed and knew that a 18 would look good and i am picky on tires and like the look of the cooper LTZ A/T but they only came in 285/60/18. So now i must deal with my decision. That one is on me but man it looks good. |

I've seen several comments about longer rear bumpstops on the 265x75x16 threads - although I don't remember anyone saying if they had to make something or if something was commercially available. |
