Hi all,

After hours upon hours of research, I have narrowed my tire search down to these tires in 225-75R16-

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp ... s&place=22

My KJ is a 2007 Sport, bone stock, with no immediate plans for a lift. My question is- Will these tires be OK on oem 16" rims, without a lift? Rubbing?

Also, any have any expierence with these? Good or bad tires?

Thanks in advance!

That size came stock on Liberty CRD's so Im sure they will fit fine.

There are a few here...well at least one that have tried those, maybe they will speak up.

Dont forget that those are directional tires, regular rotations are out of the question and the spare is only really good for one side of the vehicle. Im sure it would be fine to use on the other side in a pinch though.

I sure do like the looks of them!

Those are a sweet looking tire but like Jeger said the spare is only good for one side
I personaly like the BFG MT it may cost a little more but worth it

I'm probably just going to stick with BFG AT's or Grabber AT2.....The more I research those Kumhos, the more I'm turned away....The whole directional tread/spare tire thing sucks, plus all I hear are those Kumhos wear extremely fast...I will only be using them for off road on weekends, which is a 400 mile round trip to the ORV areas, so i will be racking up miles in no time....

The kumho MT 834 would be better for you and it's a highly rated, long wearing tire. The contractors in my area swear by them on their work trucks.

If all you want is an "off road" tire then look for the cheep O's
like Remington mud brutes or Mastercraft MT's
these are both good ole stand bys out on the trails we run
I run the Mud brutes on the TJ and they do very well

Thanks for the help/advice!

I ended up ordering 245-70R16 BFG AT K/O's. I'll most likely have them mounted on black Enkei wheels.....Discount Tire has these wheels going for around $70, they look good, are cheap, and as long as they don't rub (5" BS) then I'll buy them too....

I'll post pics, should have them mounted within the next day or two.
