Well I am doing it I will be picking up 5 rubicon rims and 5 265/75 MTR'S for my libby the chrome rims and tires are going up for sale. I thought that I could make the 285/60/18's work but I am getting sick of going offroad and worrying about blowing my fenders off. I think these rims and tires would be great for daily drivers of say a tj or a lifted jeep other than a libby just a little too big. Oh well some lessons are learned the hard way and some the easy way.

Those sure do look good though.

FYI-- the folks with 265x75 - also have rubbing issues when things flex offroad - not as bad as the 285's for sure but they're torn off fenders too, so you may be backing down from impossible to just hard to do......

I am not worried about the interior fender lining I just dont want to bust the trim around my rear door. I should be good I dont do any rock crawling just rail riding and hunting. So i hope that I am happy we will see
