I have the 2.5 rustys lift on my 03, and for now I have 245/75/16 Revo's. I'd like to put 265's on, I was thinking of going with MTRs. Will they fit? On stock wheels. Right now it seems to me that betweeen the tire and the top of the "spindle" there is very little room, like 1/2-3/4 inch. I was worried about a wider tire and haveing to use wheel spacers to clear the suspension? the rest of it I am not worried about I am ok with have to trim the fenders. Thanks

I have 265s but they are ATs not MTRs. They rub only on the suspension, but only in full wheel turn. I am going to get the MTRs soon with new wheels w/ 4 inch backspacing. That should give some more clearance from the suspension components. The 265s will also rub the plastic bumper, but I have an ARB so that is not a problem. Hope this helps a little bit.

This is what my jeep looks like with 265's on it. I have the 2.5" daystar lift on an 02' and I still get rub at full lock. Not bad enough to tear anything up but you would need to trim if it bothers you. On another note, I ordered my camo stripping to go on the bottom of the doors and it should be here tomorrow. I'll post some picks after I get it through. Deer season can't come fast enough..come on Friday! I got my 4 wheeler and trailer yesterday and I'm going to put the camo stripping on the fender wells of the trailer. I'll post pics of the jeep/trailer/4 wheeler as soon as possible.

they will rub on the a-arm with the stock wheels and you will loose a little bit of your turning radius....been there. That is why I have 245/75's now.

Yea the turning radius is effected, but not drastically. It is a total preference call, I personally like the bigger, wider 265s as opposed to the 245s. Thats just me, bigger is sometimes better  :D
