Ok all you Revo owners.
Give me your opinion.

I just ordered some Revos and some black Cragar soft 8 wheels.

In your opinion, which would look better?

White letters in.

White letters out.

I know, I know, it's a matter of personal preference. I simply want to know what you guys and girls are running.

Pix would be most helpfull too.

If you don't want to post pix on the board, don't be shy about sending them to

jeeploverx@yahoo.com

I appreciate all the help.

Depends what color your KJ is. I think a lighter color with stock rims, blackwalls out (that's what I have, Light Khaki), however, with the black rims you are getting, and a darker color KJ, I think white letters out might look better. Hope this helps!

if you are going to wheel it, white definitely in. especially if there are any rocks in your area. rub a tire on a rock a couple times with the white lettering out and you will quickly peel the thin black layer off. you will end up looking like one serious non-parking curb rubber

IMO, white out looks best on a black KJ.

FWIW, I can't comment on all brands, but on BFG A/T ko tires, the white lettering is skin (sidewall) deep. The lettering cannot be removed, because of this. The only way to cover BFG A/T white lettering, is to paint over the white.

White lettering in. Looks tougher and the lettering doesn't get all chewed up by rocks when you take it off road (well it still gets chewed up...you just can't see it!).

Thanks for all the replies so far.
My KJ is silver with the grey flares.
The more I look at it, the more confused I get...lol.

I bought the black wheels because I think they look great and I won't have to clean chrome at all...LOL.

Also, I'm thinking of painting all the chrome emblems the same as the body color. I was going to black them out, but that would be too noticeable and my point is to clean it up a bit. Either that or remove all the embles altogether.

Thanks again for the feedback.

The original tires had the white lettering out. Looked cool,, OK. And every time I washed the libby,, had to scrub the white lettering or it looked terrible. Now I have cooper discoverer S/T 265/70R16. I had them put the all black sides out. Looks great and now washing the tires is quick and easy. Check it out

Well guys and gals.
I've got my new tires and wheels mounted.
Since I couldn't make up my mind, I let my buddy down at the shop who mounted them decide for me. That way, if you don't like it, you can blame him....lol.

I've posted a link to my Webshots page in the KJ PICS forum.

Thanks for all the great comments and the goofy ones too. 2 black and 2 white? Man, what are you smokin? LOL
