after i got the new meats on with the wheel spacers there was obvously trimming necessary however the guys that did it tried to pound down the pinch welds as far as they could but it's still rubbing them. I know that the tire tread will eventually wear and then it won't rub but in the meantime is there any suggestions on how to get the pinch weld more flat? (I hear grinding it down is no good..as it will eventually separate etc etc)
any thoughts, please shoot em on over..thanks!

and ps if you haven't seen my new setup, check it out in the pics section under "Goodbye Goodyears, Hello Grabbers" post

Maybe you just oughta remove the wheel spacers since they're causing you more trouble than they're worth? the spacers are the direct cause of all the rubbing and it's caused unnecessary hacking to your KJ that most of us don't have to worry about with 245/75-16s and a little lift...I didn't even have enough rub to warrant any pinch weld work with no lift and 245/75-16s

just my $.02...

I don't run with spacers. I'd get rid of those first. But, with my slight rubbing, I had mine done. They ground of the pinch weld, then ran a bead of weld along it - as a precaution so the weld would not spread apart. When I got the KJ home, I sprayed it with undercoating. Hope this helps.
