picked up a set of 5 rubicon wheels on ebay, 1 year old sweet rims. My tire place had a hard time mounting the tires on these rims. I guess there is a type of beadlock lip on the inside of the wheel and he could'nt get it to seal on the outer bead. It took 65 to 85 psi to get them to "pop". Any one else have similar situation. The owner has been in business for 25+ years cutomizing 4wd's never had this problem.

Are your tires 16's? Did you verify that your Toyo's size, fit Rubi wheels?

the tires fit, they were just hard to seal. Yes they were 16's.

I suspect it is the tires more than the rims. I am a regular on the Rubicon Owners Forum and have not ever seen a post about problems mounting tires on Rubicon rims.
