I am looking into replacing my stock SRA’s I have narrowed down my tires to Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo’s , Bridgestone Dueler A/T D693’s, and the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO’s. I plan on getting these in the Stock 235/70 R16 size. I am leaning toward the Revo’s as their rating seems to be the best. Does anyone have any input on these tires?

Thanks in advance for any comments.

I have the Revo's on mine. They are an excellent tire. I went with the 245/70/16 for size though. They are 1" taller and 1" wider than my stock 215/75/16's. You can see the original post here http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=137

I love my BFG AT KO's. Best tires I've ever owned and look aggressive too.

Both BFG's and Revo's are sweet!! I had BFG's on my older Cherokee and I have the Revo's currently on my Lib. In my opinion, the BFG's look more aggressive than the Revo's. However, I find that the Revo's have a slight better ride regarding noise, road travel, than the BFG's. SORRY ABOUT THE NIGHT PICTURE but you can see the diff.

Here's a pic of b4 and after if you wanna see the Revos:

BEFORE WITH THE SRA'S:

AFTER WITH REVO'S

I like the BF Goodrich A/T KO. Look is just awesome and they are quite on the road and wear like iron.

You should consider getting 245/70/16. Will fit with no problems at all.

You can't go wrong with the Destination A/T. Its usually a little easier on the wallet but recieves just as good of a raiting off Tire Rack.com..

Get the 245/70/16's. You'll be glad you did later on...

I have the Revos in 245/70R16 and agree with PCTim that it would be a good size for your KJ. A little wider and taller than the stock 235/70R16s.

I like the Revos. When I'm not running MTRs that's what I use. They are great in all conditions. I've run the KOs on other vehicles and I think they look more aggressive, but the Revos give better handling, less noise, and better traction in the wet.

Changed my Bad- Years for BFG- AT's, 235/70R16,great tire, much more grip in dry/wet/snow, same noice while driving even at high speeds and super off-road and a live expectancy of 80.000 Miles.
No wonder BFG-AT's are the best selling off-road tire in the world.

jeepkj02,

I like the look of those wheels! Where did you end up getting them? Do they have the pinstripe around the edge like on their website?

Just an Update on my replacing my tires, I finally chose to go with the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revos I kept with the Stock Size of 235/70/R16. I figured since I have a set of cable chains for this size I would stay with the size I know they fit, in the future once the warranty runs out I may go to a larger size tire but for know this will be fine. Getting them installed was almost trouble free. The only problem I had was the supplier for the tire shop tried to pull a fast one by sending just Dueler A/T’s and charging for the Revos. I caught that it was the wrong tire and quickly got the shop owner to verify that the tires were wrong. He checked his invoice and was rather perturbed that the supplier tried to pass the tires off as the Revos. I ended up paying a $560 for 4 of the correct tires mounted and balanced and the difference in the ride and the feel is noticeable.

Thanks everyone for your input it helped me decide on these tires.

I'm in the same situation as you are and I find it a little confusing being new to this. If it helps, I think I will be replacing my stocks with the Revo's as well. They seem to have the best reveiws (here and other sites) for what I will need them for (daily driver, a lot of snow/rain and a little more of an aggressive look). Eventually I would like to take it off road, but I have some other things to add before I do that so it will be some time.

I dont plan on buying until Oct though so I may check in and see how people are doing with the Goodyear Silent Armors. That was what I was originally interested in.

Good luck and hope this helps!

Go with the 265/75's..they make a huge difference. Do you have a lift or are you stock? If no lift, the 245's would be a good choice. I am running the Goodyear Wrangler A/T and they serve thier purpose well.
