Ya , little bit, but only in full turn.
I know that before buying them.

You think they (GGAT2 255/70) are worth it over a 245/70 firestone destination AT?

I like em.
These are on my lifted 03. Work great off road. Fairly quiet on the street. I picked the 255/70 over a 245/75 because it is about 1/2" smaller. I wanted as little impact on my drive ratio as possible. I'm happy to report there is virtually no impact on my mileage. So far a best of 22.6mpg.

I got mine from Tire Rack for around $87 each. The warehouse is within 60 miles so I was able to pick them up. Sizes are limited.

General has been making tires for quite a while. When I was a kid my Dad worked at Aerojet General in southern CA. I remember the tires in the company store. (I qualify for an AARP card now so that has been awhile)

Can anyone find these online now? Tire rack is either sold out or no longer carries them (or I'm and idiot and need to be directed). Thanks!

I just got these Grabber AT2s put on yesterday. I LOVE them. I've owned BFG ATs, Cooper STTs, Goodyear Wranglers, etc. And I must say, these are some of the nicest tires I've ever had. I paid $86 each for them which was outstanding. They all 4 balanced perfectly the first time. They are smooth on the highway. Not any excessive noise. Off road they are awesome so far. And they look 50 times better on the Jeep. Plus the rim protection flange is SWEET. So far I couldn't be happier. I LOVE these tires.

Well here's the deal: I took my GPS and checked the speedometer in my KJ with the factory tires. The speedo was perfect. So today I went out with the GPS again to check the speedo with the new 255/70s. My speedometer is still perfect up to 55 mph. At 55, the speedo begins to read 1 mile per hour too slow. So I am very happy to find out that my speedo and odometer are still almost 100% accurate.

Second, there is ZERO rubbing. And I mean zero. I have 1.5" of lift up front and 2.0" in the rear. And my 255/70s don't rub ANYWHERE while driving on the street.

Having said that, the front air dam that hangs down in front of tire was very close to rubbing on full turn. So just to be safe I took a Dremel tool and shaved the air dam. You can't even tell it from walking around the Jeep. But it'll give me a little more free room when off road.

I do think that when I get off-road and start flexing that I'll have some rubbing. But I don't know how bad it'll be. Will have to check on that sometime. But on the street these tires fit PERFECTLY and look VERY nice on the KJ.

I've owned all kinds of tires but I am VERY happy with these so far. The stock tires are even more flimsy and poorly made than I thought now that they are off the Jeep so I can see the insides of them. So I'm happy to have those Goodyears off.
