can you move or install new TPMS stems in the MOAB rims? I am looking at a set of 5 and need to decide rather quickly. |

yes. it'll be most financially efficient to use your old ones. |

Liar! wait, don't you mean you have to install them so the valve stem is INSIDE the wheel and the sensor is OUTSIDE for them to work? |

I bought a set of Standard Brand TPM-17 sensors (metal stem version w/ rubber seal) that are compatible with the '06 Liberty's and had them installed in my Moab wheels, now I am having nothing but problems with them leaking at the seals. I have even had the local Discount Tire try and rebuild them and still the same problem. Today as a test Discount Tire tried a a newer rubber style sensor which seems to have no issue with sealing. So my dilemma is do I just change all 5 of them out to the rubber style stems and try to return the ones I bought through Amazon (beyond their 30-day return policy) or find another solution to make the Standard Brand TPM-17 sensors work. I am open to suggestions for making the ones I have properly seal. What brand and model of sensors have others successfully used on their Moab wheels? |
