Hey finnaly put a lift in.
2.5 inch budget lift I would say. Just to see if I'd like it.
Came with spacers front and rear, and let me tell you
the front was a pain to compress those srings.
Any ways my question is what size Meats can I go?

good all around size is 245-75-16, gives you some heighth, but not too tall that you lose a lot of power or gas mileage, or if you want a little wider 255-70-16s work as well

To give you a better idea for comparison, these are the measurements of popular sizes.

245/75/16=30.5x9.6x16
255/70/16=30.1x10x16
260/70/16=30.2x10.2x16
265/75/16=31.6x10.4x16

Now these are just measurements off the numbers and manufacturers always make their tires sizes differently. Some run bigger, some smaller but that should give you an idea of where they are at in relation to each other.

stock 235-70-16, 29 inches tall
245-75-16, 30.5 inches tall
265-70-16, 30.6 inches tall but wider so may hit with stock wheels etc on the sway bar when turning

so if you want 1/10 of an inch more and wider go for the 265-70, just be ready to trim a little with most all above and including 245-75-16 :wink:

all sizes vary between tire makes /brands / styles, but above is a general heighth of each

At least you got him the right size measurement on the tire he asked about Tom. I used 260/70/16 instead of 265/70 like he asked.

You may have to trim the inside of the fender cover or your bumper. The pinch weld is a usual problem.

You may or may not need to. Get the bigger tires and see where you rub. Trim and pound accordingly.

rear fender
33.5 front

Well less 2.5 in the rear and about 2.250 in front
so not bad I guess for a spacer lift..

My guess is the 265/70 would be a pretty tight squeeze for around 2.5" of actual lift. I'd go with the 245/75, but if you already have the 265/70, you could mount em and see what happens or try sell em for more than what you got em for.

saw the 260-70 but let it pass ..THIS TIME :twisted:

agree with inc on the size due to width and size it will hit more on the front lower bumper etc that a 245-75 but then it depends on how good the deal was, and how sharp your dry wall saw is to cut parts off :wink:
