Hi, I bought these after trying to get my tire guy to order either Revos or KO's. He said these tires were the best out there. So i fell for it... They are really nice tires. Handle great on dry and good on wet. They are the most quiet tire I have ever had also. You can't hear them at all up over 80mph.. I've seen a few reviews by people stating they are not that good in the deep snow though which is making me return them and switching them for the Revo's.They have the 30 day test drive on them no questions asked. All in all though they are a good looking,handling & quiet tire..I would recomend these for the Peeps who don't see to much snowor hard core off roading.The tread is all right for mild off roading I would say.They are more of a all season highway than All Terrain Tire. What a difference over the stock Good Years.. I got them in the 245/70/16 size with no rubbing.. Update::: It snowed around 3" here in Suburb Boston, Tires are not that great in the snow!! Can't wait to get the REVOS!!

Can you trade those in and test drive the Wrangle Silent Armors for 30 days too? My tire dealer said the Wrangler ones would be the way to go for snow and offroad and the Fortera's are more of a onroad tire. If you get another 30 days for free you cant go wrong, then switch to the Revo's if you dont like them.

I have to tell you, I did like the look of the Wrangle Silent Armors and I have heard good things about them Good Luck!

I think I'm done with Good Years in general after the awful stockers and then one of thier best tires..!! I thought these would be great all around tires. They are extremly quiet and prob tough as nails with the Kevlar and all but for 180 per tire I want more... I saw the Wrangler silent armor as well. Nice looking tire but it looks to aggressive and prob not the best streetable tire for my liking. I could do another 30 day trial but I don't want to be a PIA at the tire store..If you know what I mean... :wink:

I hear ya, but it should be all about "customer satisfaction"! They wasted your time with a bad tire originally, now you can waste theirs as you take your time finding out what suits you! :)

I was going to go with those when they first came out, until I saw the price tag (even with a great discount). I was about 4-5 months into owning my Lib (bought it used) and I didnt want to drop the cash when there were plenty of other better and less expensive options out there. I went with a somewhat aggressive AT tire but I dont do anything more than light offroading, mainly was interested in it for the snow factor.

That's with me too. I wanted a good rain/snow tire. I dont have selct/trac so the rear end likes to kick out in the slippery stuff (Which I can handle fine but my wife uses the jeep also)...I'm hopinh the Revos live up to all the Hype!!

I tried the Forteras for a week or so. We got some some inclimate weather, rain and snow. They did alright but i though they should have had better traction in the rain. I'm not sure if they get better after using them for a little while but i didn't want to risk it after paying all of that money. I swapped them out for free for bridgestone REVO's. The Foreteras were definitley quieter and handled at high speeds w/no issue. I just thought after all the raves about the Revo's on here I would be better off. I have had the Revos for 2 weeks and they seem really good in the rain. we are getting some deep snow tomorrow so i can update after that.I just hope I made the right choice getting the Revos.. i thought the forteras looked pretty good as well as you can see in my pics up top of this thread..
