I am looking to replace my Wragler St's. I am looking at the Goodyear Fortera Tripletreds, Most of my driving is on the highway and i am looking for your feed back on these tires. 235/70-16 |

If you're stuck on Goodyear, get the Silent Armors. If not, get Michelin LTX M/S's. Longest lasting truck tires. |

i am not stuck on Goodyear but i am not a fan of Michelin. I have never had good luck with their tires. Then tend to wear very quickly based on their milage ratings. They seem to be like the automakers and therir gas milage ratings of the past. |

I've run a set of x-ice all season now and they still look brand new

Firestone Destination LE's I run those on my work van and my daughters KJ. they just don't seem to wear at all! Work pretty decent in the snow too!

The Fortera Tripletreds are very highly rated as an excellent on road all season tire everywhere you look. Subaru guys love them. However, if you ever travel off road or in deep snow look at something more aggressive. Pirelli Scorpion ATR maybe? |

Up here in Canada (land of snow) its slowly becoming law to run winter tires, and we get enough snow and ice to make it worth it. In Halifax alone we have had a weekly storm all season now, just this weekend was a flash freeze, in 15min the roads were a skating rink! |

The ice tires I had on my protege 5 were amazing, they stopped basically instantly. Your right though, it takes a brain behind the wheel, and slow speeds will get you stopped much better |

I have the triple treads and they're much better than stock of course. They're awesome in dry, rain and snow conditions but horrible on thin icey roads. I would recommend them over the stock tires especially for highway driving. They are also much quieter and can handle the higher speeds. I will still go with a set of BFG's all terrain 245/70/16 on my next set which I originally wanted to get. |

LTX M/S's are the longest wearing truck tire on the market. |

LTX M/S's are the longest wearing truck tire on the market. I just rolled over 40,000 miles on my Dodge Cummins today with the factory Michelin LTX M/S tires. I’m starting to wonder when they will eventually wear down to the wear bars.  Overall, I’m very happy with the Michelin tires. If I don’t go back with the LTX again, then my next set of tires will be either the TOYO H/T’s or Michelin A/T2’s.
