245/70/16 will fit fine with no rubbing, many many people here have done it. But keep in mind this is the internet, so every time somebody says something will work, somebody will say it wont. Its like we are all trying to write a thesis here, :roll:

Anyways, many have done it, and as long as your tire isn't super agressive like the KM2s than it will fit. If you wait a few weeks I will give you a full review of the KM2s in 235/70/16 lol. I've heard there amazing though. As for the rest of what you listed, I've heard the destination are a good tire, but for me, there not agressive enough, look like a highway only tire, nothing for deep mud. The Grabbers are a cheap TAKO, I've heard there pretty good though. I've read some comments about hydroplaining but if you don't slow down in the rain, anything will hydroplain... well, maybe not treads lol.... The takos are the ultimate all terrain it seems, ive seen a lot of tjs tear through some crazy terrain with them, and in remote nova scotia, its all I see on the roads after a snow storm... literally :S I've been warned that with the km2s you have to rotate them a lot, like every 5k, if not they will wear very uneven and very fast, but if you do roate them a lot, they last great. Here is what I would say
If you are strapped for cash but want a tire that will be fun off road, get the grabber
If you want a tire that is great on the street with just enough attitude for some trails, get the destination
If you want a great all terrain tire, get the tako
If you want a awsome mud ture that is happy on the highway, get the km2. Keep in mind 4 KM2s in 235/70/16 just cost me $1008 here in Halifax, thats with my dads military discount....

Ok here is the deal, my KJ is my daily driver, & I need a new set up skins for the summer So she isn't lifted or anything (prob wont be for a while) and shes rolling on 16's. Today I plan on calling around and doing some pricing. I am looking for suggestions + sizes!!!

Depending on the tire, you can run 245/70/16. I'm getting 4 235/70/16 BFGoodrich KM2s mounted hopefully this week if they arrive in time.... I've seen All Terrain TA/KOs in person and are a amazing tire, I think a more aggressive tire than what your thinking of getting. A friend of my runs kelly safari msr tires and he loves them, I've seem them in deep mud rocks snow and ice, they do fine. Goodyear silent armours also have some good feedback on here, and I have heard good things about general grabber at2s, which are a cheap ripoff of the tako....

so 245/70 r16 has no rubbing issues? I really don't want to $%#& with trimming and hammering the pinch weld, since I have nothing for tools and garages are a far distance away.. Ahhh the things you do for work... anyways haah These are the ones I have been looking at: BFG KM2 General Grabber AT2 Firestone Desination AT BFG AT KO Any recommendations? Yes there going to be alot of highway driving but I don't mind a loud tire (and hopefully alot of mud fun )

There a very cheap tire, in all meanings of the word, there cheaply built, and cost very little. As I said, they are a good tire, not great, not horrible, but good. If you want a cheap all terrain tire, check them out. I would look at the kelly safari msr before the grabbers though, I've seen them on the trail and they are awsome....

I really like my Destination ATs. I bought them in November and they dealt with the midwest winter quite well. I've only been offroad once with them, and that wasn't anything difficult, just a field with some standing water and a bit of mud. They handled that fine. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with my choice of tire.

If the KM2s were $1050, and the Grabbers were pushing $900, then we could be safe to say the TA/KOs are $950 (one would hope).... Honestly that seems a bit steep for the grabbers, I would either get the TA/KOs (assimung there not more than the KM2s LOL) or get the KM2s, at that small price difference you would be better spend the extra coin....

I vote KM2, Im going to try and get some video of my friends CJ with KM2s in the tank trap we just built. we were both very impressed how they handled, way better than his mickeys. theyre quiet on the road too.

They seem to be a very very popular tire, and getting very common on the road, probably will be as common as the tako in a few years

I was at the Firestone shop last weak and the Destination AT's (and maybe MT's?) were buy 3 get one free. Not sure if its still going on but you might try to get the deal even if its over.
