You should be fine. I ran the same tire size and same wheel (width and backspacing) with no rubbing.

Do they stick out much past the fender over stock?

My concern is with the backspacing. I will be running the 235/70/16 Dueler A/T's I currently have. If the Liberty has a backspacing on the stock steel wheel of 5.5 in, will it be okay to go to a 16x7 with a 4 in backspace?


holy cow a KS guy?! Be sure to check out the LOST Great Plains section and introduce yourself! We are trying to do a get together here soon, Id love to see another KS guy there, there is also another guy from Valley Center thats close.

They will not rub, I had them on when I was stock.

Updated w/pics:

The first two pics are when I first got it with the crappy 225/75/16 Wrangler ST's. The wheels are Cragar Soft 8 16x7 with 235/70/16 Bridgestone Dueler A/T 693 tires, rubbing is non-existant. Comments welcome :mrgreen:

darn those look 247% better than the stock steelies... I was going to paint the steel wheels but the extra backspacing makes such a difference too... what to do, what to do ;-) I need a second job or something!

I ordered them from Summit Racing last Fri night, came in Wed.

5 wheels + 5 center caps = $381 shipped

5 year later, this setup has inspired a copycat. I'm quite pleased with it!

In case anyone is still wondering, no lift and no rubbing here either.

Anyone on a KK with these rims and no lift? All I've ever read is that Cragar8's are a no go without a lift.
