These are newer... Give em a shot, but remember the BFG A/T KO are proven and consider one of the best tires all around........

badyears stockers blew a chance of me buying badyears anytime soon. :x

Anyone know anything about these tires? There pretty new. Theres the Fostoria edition that are everyday SUV tires and the Wrangler that are the = to BFG AT TA. Would be great to hear from yall on this as I'm looking for tires.

If they are the tires I think they are. My brother-in-law just put them on his GMC Youkon. They look good...not as tough as the BFG's...but who cares right. He said that they rode great and the tread looks aggressive enough to tackle most things. He also said that they are 6ply with Kevlar in them. If you get a flat for any reason, Goodyear will pay for someone to come and tow/fix. That is pretty cool.

Give them a try. They made me think about getting some. But I hate the stockers so much I think I will be putting on Bridgestone Dueller Revo's.

Here are the one's he has......

stockers = stock tires. Visit www.TireRack.com to learn more about the Revo's, BFG KO's, and Goodyear MTR's. These three "seem" to be the most popular tires on here and you will read up on what people think of tires at Tire Rack. Take with a grain of salt though. There can always be people putting in false statements in there also.

Revo's "seem" to be the best in rain and for daily driving, by what most responses on here claim.

What are Stockers? Are you talking about the stock brand of Goodyear? I've heard some pretty good things about them. On the other hand, I have heard yall talk ALOT about these Revo's.

I just replaced my stock Goodyear SR-As with Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos. Only been on dry asphalt so far but I can tell the difference already. Goodyears would squeal when turning even slowly into a parking space and didn't seem to grip the road very well. Revos feel really solid. Stock tires only had 8700 miles on them so treadwear wasn't an issue.

My buddy just had those installed on his stock KJ and he loves them. He said that they were like glue in the wet weather. But then, he does verry little off-roading too.

I just got (for money's sake and the fact that I destroyed a couple of the stock Badyears) a set of Pathfinder A/T's and they have been really great in the dry and wet. They ride good (a little stiffer than stockers) and are fairly quiet. I haven't had them offroad yet though but I did have some on an XJ years ago they did pretty well off the road. They look a lot like the BFG A/T's but cost half the amount. I got a set of five 245/75-16 with the road hazzard and lifetime balancing for about $500. That way, when I destroy a couple more, I get new ones for free

I had BFG's for a while and sold them off.....I didn't like the soft sidewall (lots of roll in corners..compared to MTR"s which are louder by far ).

Good luck 8)

MTR's are loud and heavy...but they'll get you off the trail better than any tire I've tried.

I was looking at those SilentArmor tires when I got my Destination ATs. I noticed that the tread pattern looked familiar - almost exactly like the Goodyear AT/S. You can look for yourself, then check out the reviews of the AT/S on Tire Rack:

SilentArmor:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Goodyear&tireModel=Wrangler+SilentArmor

Wrangler AT/S:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Goodyear&tireModel=Wrangler+AT%2FS

I do like the fact that Goodyear put kevlar in the SilentArmors though...

Now now, I'm sure that you have that 501 PIR avitar because you think it looks cool and in reality you are a dirty, dirty leg.... f*ing NAPs...

I'm glad taht you like your new meats. I personally won't ever buy Goodyear tires again after having those SR-As on the Renegade. But the kevlar in the sidewalls is a nice touch for the SilentArmor tires.

How much $ out-the-door?

For the rest of you reading this thread, I've convinced both their girlfriends that "Ranger's Lead The Way".

Navy SEALS don't lead the way. They are already there.

Sorry, Jodie already got her. F'ing witch

Man, you really got to love AAFES though. I got my Firestones (5 tires + mounting/balancing/tire disposal/ road hazard) OTD for $475 while I was TDY at Bragg.

You mean the same seals who've never finished a Ranger Challenge Competition?

Got news for you, Ranger's have been leading the way since 6 June 1944. And first hand knowledge can info you, during Operation Urgent Fury (Grenada 1983), Ranger's led the way by airborne assult (500ft jump, that's not a typo) onto the island. Only after Ranger's secured the airfield (where I was) and other stratgic points, did seals arrive via beach landing by boats.

Now I respect all recon / spec force's, so don't confuse stupidity with facts.
