I knew this at one point, but what is the backspacing on the stock wheels? I think it is 5.75 but not totally sure on that.

Thanks! I just picked up some Rubi rims and MTRs last night and I was trying to get a feel for how much wider they would be...not much apparently. I think the Rubi rims are 5.25.

Normally I do my research before I make purchases like this, but this deal was just too good to pass up! $650 for 5 rims and tires. Less than 5000 miles on them and NO time offroad (that will change though  ). Plus it was a local seller so no shipping either.

Rubi rims & tires look excellent on KJ's. If I remember right, there is only 1/2" difference in the rim back spacing between the two...

That's probably for the best. Honestly the stock backspacing works pretty well as far as stuffing the tires is concerned. If there was a lot more offset with the Rubi rims I'd probably have a bunch more contact. It will be nice to move the tire off the swaybar a bit though...

Where did you buy the Rubi rims?

I was looking through the classified section on another forum. The guy selling them just dropped his price the day before and happens to live a couple hours from me. It was too perfect to pass up.

Glad you were able to take them off our hands. Still looking for a pic of them mounted up on your rig.
