I knew this at one point, but what is the backspacing on the stock wheels? I think it is 5.75 but not totally sure on that. |

Thanks! I just picked up some Rubi rims and MTRs last night and I was trying to get a feel for how much wider they would be...not much apparently. I think the Rubi rims are 5.25. Normally I do my research before I make purchases like this, but this deal was just too good to pass up! $650 for 5 rims and tires. Less than 5000 miles on them and NO time offroad (that will change though  ). Plus it was a local seller so no shipping either.

Rubi rims & tires look excellent on KJ's. If I remember right, there is only 1/2" difference in the rim back spacing between the two... |

That's probably for the best. Honestly the stock backspacing works pretty well as far as stuffing the tires is concerned. If there was a lot more offset with the Rubi rims I'd probably have a bunch more contact. It will be nice to move the tire off the swaybar a bit though... |

I was looking through the classified section on another forum. The guy selling them just dropped his price the day before and happens to live a couple hours from me. It was too perfect to pass up. |
