Purchased four 225 75 16 General Grabber HTS tires from Onlinetires at a fairly good price: $337 Shipping for four tires from LA to Portland was a reasonable $61 with FEDEX. Local shop installed and balanced them for $70, including disposal fee for two of them. Noticed a big improvement in stopping. |

We have these on our BMW X5 and they are excellent tires for dry handling and wet weather. I can't wait to see if they live up to the positive things I see about their snow performance. - Chris |

These Offroad SUV tires seem like a great deal to me, you guys are getting like 40k+ on tires that you spend $200 each (or less) and being grumbly about it. When I used to autocross my little Mazda I'd get $250@ tires rated at 20k miles and be happy (and surprised) if I got 10k out of them. (when I was a younger man the phrase used was "drive it like you stole it"... now I drive like grandma driving to church on sunday while on Valium...) I'm looking for a set of rubber for my new (to me) CRD, for a mix of on and off road playing about and grandmaesque driving. |
