Going for these when I get new tires as they seem like the most aggresive AT tire and wear about the same as BFG ATs. Hoping Ill be ready for 32s by then, if not 245 75-16s it is!

Have run these all hunting season so far this year on a lot of mud, dirt and rock/mountain trails. No complaints whatsoever (unless you consider a little bit more highway noise a minus) and they clear very well in sand, clay and even black muck. When on sale, manufacturer's rebate or store rebate for these goes up - can't recommend highly enough! Best AT in an aggressive tread and better value than most. C load range is cheaper and lighter BTW ... mfg doesn't recommend the E anyhow for the Libby... (unless you've upped your weight considerably I guess...) |

Looking to get a set of Duratracs or BFG KM2. KJ has a Rusty's 2.5" spring lift with an extra set of isolators in the rear and clevis lift in the front. Also have Al's UCA on the front. Will the 265/75x16 fit without rubbing on the control arms. Custom front bumper and pinch welds are well beat down at this point. Cant decide between the 235/85x16 or the 265/75x16. Both are the same diameter, but the 265's are over and inch wider. |

Second already have 4.10s installed ? Reason for asking about height is I have seen how the Rustys sag so wondering where you are now |

I will have to measure tomorrow. Not to much sag anywhere that I have noticed, rear springs were swapped out roughly 16K ago due to one spring in the rear was starting to sag. Probably is some though as the front springs have been on since the fall of 2004. Was more worried about rubbing on the control arms then anywhere else. |

Measure and report back also need 4.10s to keep it from shifting all the time or only using it with the OD off if going to a 32 inch tire. |

I just red the entire 9 pages and i didnt see any reviews in SAND behavior. How are your experiences on heavy sand on these tires? |

Been on the beach with the Duratracs this past summer every other weekend and had no issues with them at all. The beach sand gets very soft out here because of all the traffic and I can say that these tires do very well aired down to 18 PSI on. |

Putting on 5 new 245/75x16 load range C's tomorrow. Replacing the old MTR LT245/75x16 E tires that have almost 40K on them. Got the C's after talking to the tire guy, hopefully they hold up well. Just read the entire 9 pages of this thread |

I'd say you'll notice a HUGE difference going from the old style MTRs to the Duratracs. Mine have over 37,000 on them and not one problem, just keep them rotated |

I have gone through 3 sets of MTRs since 2004, their wear is horrible and required me to rotate them every 3-4K. Aside from that, I got almost 40K on this set and their traction offroad, in sand, mud, snow and whatever else I could find have always been outstanding. Biggest concern is the C load rating as the MTRs have always been E's. $200 per tire installed with a free alignment. |

Got the new shoes on the Jeep. So far so good. They are so much quieter than my MTRs that now I have to check my rotors and brake pads as I can hear noises I havent heard before |

These sand conditions is what im concern, because i plan to do this trip 2 times a year. My KJ its a DD. Its in the ALTAR DESERT, biggest dunes in North America, and are in Sonora, and its just south the Arizona & California border:

sand was no issue, done be afraid to air down to like 14-16 PSI. much better handling on sand that way... if you need the height stick with like 18, but your probably won't |

I just went to that dunes above, and i aired down to 10 psi. Impresive how they worked. Dunlop rover maxx traction. |

I am looking to buy these as well. I bumped up my lift to Frankenlift and running on stock wheels with 1.5" Rough Country spacers. My question is, I know that if i go with 265/75/16 I will need to regear, which I dont want to do right now. The 245/75/16 look too skinny to me. What is in the middle width wise? 255/70/16 would be right in the middle? Can I run these without regearing? Thanks |
