Who's got 'em and which ones fit. I dont think I want to be shaving calipers. I know the Rock Crawler 51's fit. I kinda like the Cragers. Just want to see what my options maybe before I decide. There's nice section in Troy's Toys here in the forum, but there's gotta be more than what has been posted there!

Thanks!

I have an '02 and used to run standard 15" rims from an old Cherokee. They fit fine without needing to grind on the calipers until I put fresh pads on the front. New pads caused them to rub.

I had MTR 30's with no lift and the tires would rub a little up front in the turns. Replacing the stock bumper with the ARB removed the plastic wheel well where the interference was occurring.

Might as well get the Rock Crawler rims if you like that style. Those are known to fit.

Rockcrawler 97's 15X8X3.75BS... 31x10.5'as allways... and the same rubbing that everyone in the KJ world has with this tire! smack the pintch weld down and trim the front bumper areas a bit. 4wheelparts.com

KooJ... how long did it take you to fin an OEM 15 to fit?!?! You must have gotten lucky, I have tried 3 OEM 15" Jeep wheels and they all were not even close to fitting!

This is a question, not an insult: Why run 15 inch wheels? Are the tires cheaper, or is the selection better? Don't they offer most of the styles being discussed in 16 inch as well? Anyone care to explain?

15's make sense for a couple of reasons:

1: tires are MUCH easier to find/better selection.
2: It also gives you more sidewall flex when airing down.
3: More sidewall and less rim means less of a chance to damage the rim.
4: 15's are cheaper then 16's
5: tires are sometimes cheaper

Hey 04kjsport, what are the exact measurements of your Cragar Soft 8s? Backspacing? Width? Anyone else who has Cragar Soft 8s could respond as well. Just need to know asap. Thanks guys! :D
