Post subject:  Black Rock Wheels lately? help please

Anyone purchase any Black Rock wheels lately? Saw a few posts that they weren't in stock a while ago.
Also, I was at discounttire and asked them about them. They guy picked up the phone, called someone, and then told me that none of their wheels (16 or 17") will fit the Liberty. Claimed they will hit the calipers.
I can't imagine that is true for 16"+ wheels.

I was really hoping for 16x7 but the 0 offset (4" bs) makes me nervous. That is like 1 3/4" out from stock with 245 tires.
So I was going to go with 16x8 with +13 offset (5" bs). Not sure 1 1/4" further out will work, but I am more confident in that than 1 3/4".

Any suggestions?

16 steels will work on the KK.... 15's wont. IIRC, my steels are 3.75 bs and I haven't had a problem but I run a 225....

Thanks Digger. But you are also lifted 4"+.
If my tires stick out past the fender by about 1/2" and I am only lifted 2.5", do I have to worry about the tire hitting the fender with offroading?
Will extended bumpstops help?

i have 16x8 with 5" backspacing and 265/70/16 tires. beat the pinch weld and take a heat gun to the plastic fenderwell to stretch it out a little bit and you will have no rubbing. I have about 2.5 lift in and front 2 in back.

When turning with less backspace you may experience rubbing...I did with mine....just my experience.
