Hey guys...just a friendly word of advice.

I've bought or helped buy 3 sets of them (5 wheels /tires each)

And not one set cost more than 800 bucks with 5K miles being the most that 1 set had on them (spare was zero miles each set).

Set of 5 MTR's from a Rubicon with 3K on them was 80 bucks a tire (400.) zero miles on the spare......and thats fairly common too.

I've seen folks asking alot of money for sets of these ( 1000 and over) and just wanted to help your guys out...don't want you to pay more than you need to.

Good luck 8)

Thanks, I was looking around for a set and seen people asking as high as 1250 for the set. I'm still weighting for that 400 dollar steal.

Mine had 5,000 miles on them and I picked them up for $650 locally (read: no shipping). Great deals are out there. Don't pay those crazy $1000+ prices. The best places I've found to look are on forums. The Ebay ones always seem to sell really high.

I think I paid under $600 for 5 (wheels only) w/shipping on ebay. They were less than a year old and in near perfect condition, then bought new tires for $115 installed..... hmmmm....thats around a grand... oh well it looks a hundred percent better and the tires are AWESOME. There isnt much out for after market wheels that don't look like a pimpmobile that fit the kj and most that do are over $200 a piece so I'm happy and momma is too(thats what really matters).

That's so true. I found my almost-new MT/Rs on ROF for only $300 (plus an hour driving time). If you're registered on ROF, click HERE to see the post.

You can also try craigslist.com and any 4WD shops in your area that install suspension lifts. The problem w/ eBay is that bids usually jump quickly during the last few minutes plus you have to pay shipping which adds maybe $200+ to the price.

The problem with Ebay is people will bid on the first day of the auction. All this does is drive the price up. Wait til the last day...last minute to bid. If everyone did this you could still get stuff cheap. I watched 1 auction go from a no-reserve $500 opening bid to a final sale of $1500. I found my Rubicon wheels and tires for $750 on craigslist. Had to drive 2 hours each way to get them, but they only had about 1000 miles on them.

Hi All... New to this Forum...Does any one have pix of the Rubicon wheels on their Libby? My wife drives the Renny that we have and I like the Rubicon wheels but I fear that with a Bright Silver color Jeep, I will loose all the looks with a machine finished wheel. I appreciate your input!

Would that work on a stock 2004 KJ or would there be rubbing? I am very new to what all these numbers mean. I know 245/75/16 will work but fear is the rims wont.

245/75/16 Will not work on a stock KJ. You have to have a 2.5" lift, and even then you may get slight rubbing.

As far as I know, the rims are fine for a stock KJ. If you wanted to, you could get the rims and switch to 245/70/16 rims, which should work on a stock kj.

any final outcome on the mix of Rubi rims and tire size? I'm at a problem point right now on my unlifted '05 and fitting Rubi rims.
