Just ordered Cooper Discoverer STT, 245/75R16. These will be fitted on the original rim, painted black.

Can´t wait to see how it looks... :JEEPIN:

Love those tires on a DD. Aggressive enough to handle almost anything off road, and oh so quiet on the street.

Yeeehow! Or as we say in Sweden, Jippi! It´s done...

Sound test, performed in real speed of 110 km/h.
Worn out Cooper Discoverer AT 225/75R16 = 70 dB.
Brand new Cooper Discoverer STT 245/75R16 = 73 dB.

But when I turn... Well, if I fell asleep while driving, I will most sertainly wake up when I turn...

I painted the spare wheel black, but after the winter the colour has cracked... Good thing I tryed it on one rim first...

I'm sorry for unearthing an old thread. But I am wondering if these tires rub? I have a 2007 with 3.7L and would be fine with running 245/75-16 if it's not going to cause problems. I would have more choices if this size fit without destroying the plastic.
