I'm probally going to get a new set of 245/75/16's for my Libby. What kind of rubbing issues can I expect. I'm hoping to have the tires and a Frankenlift installed at the same time. I want as few rubbing issues as possible and not get too small or too large. Thanks for your help. Parakeet |

It all so depends on what type of tires you are buying. an all season tire wont rub as much as a A/T or M/T.. |

I have 245/75R16 Firestone Destination M/Ts on stock 2003 Limited rims. They rub when I turn close to full-lock and when really flexing it out. I didn't install the bumpstops with my Frankenlift (Skyjacker springs, rear). It doesn't bother me, since it all happens going no more than 10 MPH. I plan on doing more front bumper surgery, taking out the foglight areas. This should eliminate rubbing when turning. Also, I plan on taking the fenderwell linings out of my KJ, and spray it with some undercoating. Calvin56 has done both of these things, and doesn't get any rubbing. |
