Just got the email from them along with others I assume but thought I would share if anyone is thinking of ordering soon. Discount code at bottom
What's Ahead in 2011
2011 is here and we at TreadWright would like to take this oppurtunity to thank all of you for you continued support and promotion of TreadWright! Without your help we would not be experiencing the growth that we are.
In the last year every major tire manufacturer increased their Light Truck tire prices 18-26% or more! Crazy! Comparatively our prices held in 2010 and will only raise a modest 5-8% effective March 1st. In 2011 new tire prices are set to rise again according to all the latest reports. At TreadWright we will continue to strive to keep our prices as low as possible to help you in these difficult economic times.
Most of you probably have visited our website at the some point in the last 3 months and know that we have been back ordered on most sizes for some time. We are very excited to have the business and feel it is a sign that more and more people are getting to know what a deal we have to offer; a quality product at a very affordable price. On the other hand we realize, that due to the longer wait times, we were not able to fill the need for tires of all of our customers. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused!
In an effort to ensure that we do not have the same issue in 2011 we are making some changes. We are adding another shift to continue press operation 24 hours, adding new casing suppliers, and adding new press equipment to double production on some of the more popular sizes and tread designs. We feel that with these changes there will not be the wait times experienced in the fall of 2010.
We have also just added the 235/70R16 size in the PUMA design. We will have the 245/65R17 in the Puma tread pattern as well in the coming month.

As our way of saying thank you for your business and for the inconvenience caused during our heavily back ordered time we would like to offer the following coupon code good for the month of February on all orders placed online or by referencing this newsletter and the code below over the phone. This will be good for 5% off all orders placed during February!

5TW11BFO10

Check back at the website often and we will keep you posted on all the latest news!

Thank you again and have a happy, safe and prosperous 2011!

I got the same message. I plan to buy 2 sets in Feb. 1 set of Guard Dogs for my KJ, and another set of Sentinels for the Suburban.

they have a pattern that's pretty much the AT2, with a softer compound, and kedge available (crushed glass+walnut shells)

i had a set of garnet and walnut shell ice tires that you would have thought had bearclaws and ice picks

Probably one of the A/T tires they have, Puma or Warden. I will need two new fronts for my pickup and was also looking at these two.

The Guard Dogs are excellent, but I do not need those on the front for my 4x2.

I'd agree with Tom. I had a set of the Puma tread design back when I first put on my Daystar lift. But then they got too small... LOL. The Wardens should wear pretty good also. They are a BFG AT / Grabber AT2 clone.

I loved the set that I had on my KJ before. They rode great, and had excellent traction in rain, snow, and ICE. Based on the wear/miles that I had when I sold them, they were going to last about 40-50k miles before the tread was gone.

The Kedge Grip is just crushed walnut shells. It does make the tires wear a little faster. But it also increases traction, so I am told. However, as I said, the ones I had did not have KEdge, and they had excellent traction.

They are re-treads. But are very good quality tires. Google search reviews of them. I have yet to see a poor review on their tires.

I chickened out, and flew out last night before the snow hit. Did not want to be stranded at the hotel. Nice and Warm here today. 50° already!

I would get the ones with the walnut shells in them, little extra grip is good where you are
also get the 245-75s good size lifted and the Pumas I think, little more open tread should do well.
The Wardens look good as well, have two of them sitting in the garage if you want a pic of them

the guard dogs look nice, the crawlers are pretty close to the mastercraft m/t style M/T

pumas are similar to AT2's and i'm sure we all are familiar with wardens

the guard dogs with the kedge should be pretty sick
