Got a stupid ? but here it goes for all of you that are running the treadwright guard dogs 245/75 what air pressure do you go with personally, treadwright says go wit whats on the inside of the driver side door, but also says you can go with the side recommended psi

So what do you personally go with?

I run 35 psi and that seems to work well. They have 20,000+ miles on them now and have been wearing fine at that pressure. I have had no issues airing them down to around 10-15 to wheel either. Was kind of worried at first, since that voids the warranty I have heard, but they have performed quite admirably.

Can't say enough good things about Treadwright. They have out-performed my old style Goodyear MT/R's in every way, and for half the price. Only negative has been the noise after awhile. But then again they are no where near as loud as my chunked up, cupped, and thrashed MT/R's. :JEEPIN:

Thanks for the reply thats about where i figured for psi, and im with ya there you cant beat these tires or the price

I'm looking at picking up some Warden A/T's soon and was wondering if anyone had input on the load rating? They only offer C and E, and they are both the same price.

They also have load D, but if it is not listed, they do not have any Load D casing at this time. The load rating of their tires correspond to the load rating of the donor casing that they are made from.

They only carry load range E for that size/tire, I guess that clears up that question.

From what I've seen nobody has Wardens on here, only the Guard Dogs.

I have been thinking about getting a set of those Wardens. I am curious to see how you like them.

Have had them for about two weeks. First of all they are a lot quieter than I expected. People complain about the guard dogs being really loud, and I barely notice any noise from the Wardens (unless I'm trying to listen for them). I do have a Flowmaster 44 installed so it may be because of that but really I don't notice the tire noise much at all.

The ride is definitely "grippier" than with my old stock Wrangler S/T's. I can turn and definitely feel it hold onto the road much better than before. I have a feeling I'm going to love these when it starts to snow.

The one downside, if you can call it that it that, is that it rides like a truck now. Much more noticeable vibration when driving above 30mph. I also noticed it takes a little more gas to get it up to speed (going from the stock 225/75/16 to a load range E 245/75/16).

Overall, other than the rubbing issues that I'm getting I would definitely buy these again if I had to do it over again. :JEEPIN:

Different sizes have different ratings available... some have multiple... some only E.
