I'm about to order some new rims to pull the rub off of my swaybar.
I am running a Frankenlift with extended front bumpstops.
Current tire is a 245/75/16 Duratrac. Since I already have the tires I'm going to stay with the 16". I'm also going to stick with a 7" wide rim. It seems that most here run a 4" backspacing with that combo.
The main question is will a 4" backspacing rub the fender flair at full flex or should I try to find a rim with a 4.5" backspace?
I just don't want to purchase a rim that will touch the flair at all when fully flexed.

Go with the 4 inch back spacing and 7 inch width, 4.5 inch is sort of hard to find seems more available in the 4 inch

You could look at Mamba MR-1s, they are 16 x 8, 5 on 4.5, with a 5" Backspacing which will push your tire out 1/2" away from the sway bar. But, and its a big but, many tire makes do not recommend running 245/75s on an 8" rim (same would apply to MOABs). I have Mambas but run 255/70s.
