I plan on throwing on some soft 8s and bigger tires once the Toyos become worn down. I would think with bigger tires and lift, you would lose handling to some extent because of the weight increase and higher center of gravity. MPGs would also take a hit. Did anyone ever consider running Cragars with stock tire sizes of 225/70 or 235/70 with no lift? The wider and lower stance would give it an aggresive look. I'd like to see how it would look if anyone has a combo like that. Or is the general thought of Cragars = bigger tires and lift?

I had my Cragar D-Windows (these are 15x7 with 4 inches of backspace) on before the lift.
The tires were actually a little smaller than stock, I also had a sagged suspension.

Here are a few pictures.

Not bad at all. Is the wheels flush with the fenders or does it stick out a little? Im sure you didnt have to worry about anykind of rubbing.

Mathematically speaking they should stick out 1.5 inches more than the stock rims.
They have 4 inches of backspace, I believe the stock rims have 5.5.

In regards to rubbing, (it might just be me, because my bumper is cracked and trimmed below) but the front of my wheel wells rubbed through, it did it's own trimming, lol.
