Hey everybody, sorry if this has been answered somewhere already but after searches and reading through 100 pages with no luck I started getting a headache. I'm going to be getting a frankenlift in the next year or so after i sell all the parts off of my lifted ram 2500 i just sold, but in the mean time I'm due for tires and was trying to find out if it is possible to run the soft 8's "15x7" on my stock 05 without problems and if so what would be the tire size I could run on those until I get lifted. Thanks... Chris |

Until you are lifted you'll have to stay close to a 245-70 max height wheels have to stay close to stock backspacing or have rub on the pinch weld and bumper If you're going to lift in a year or so I run the stock wheels and buy tires to fit them until that time. Then you can go with a 7 inch wheel with 4 inches of back spacing and a 30-31 inch tire |

Any help will be appreciated I have Black Rock 8's (same as Crager Soft8) 16x7 with 4'B.S. on a stock 2002 Limited, even with the stock 235/70/16 they rub the pinch weld where the stock wheels did not. I have since pounded the pinch weld and remolded the front of the inner fenders and am installing 245/70/16 in the next week or so. I will update to let you know how they do with the pounded pinch weld. |
