Anybody seen these in action?

I'm contemplating going with this size to compliment a switch to the factory 16" keystones.
My Latitude came with those gawdawful seven spoke plastichrome-clad 18" "rims".

These have the skinny profile of vintage jeep tires and a subltle increase in diameter (30.4 vs. 29.1)
And Ive found a few decent tires in the $145-200 range.

Now I just need to get my JBA 2.5" lift and find some nice keystones.

Got the tires from tirecrawler.com.
Cheapest by far at $179 each.Free shipping. In two days.
Finally found some takeoff keystones locally.
Hoping to install the lift tomorrow.

I'm interested to see how these tires look. I wonder if the wheels are also too wide for the tires. I have the 16' wheels also.

Yeah, I would have been happier with a 6" wide wheel but 7" is max spec.

Fantastic ride!
Huge improvement in ride quality(and that's not just my empty wallet talking).
My Ebay TPMS's worked by themselves. No noticable ESC activation before or after alignment.
So far my only complaint is that my wheels are 7" wide. That allows the sidewall to pooch out more than I like for the rocky trails this thing is going to see. The tires are LT load range E so they should hold up better than P rated sidewalls....I hope.

Looks good

Curious though, why do you have a D30 & D35 listed in you signature for your KK, and three diffs for your CJ?

Now that I study it a little harder...I see the subtle flats on the oval.

Thanks guys.

Sorry to go off topic again but, what is that rear cargo liner you have in the back? Haben't seen that one.

Looks pretty good. The tires aren't very aggressive so they almost look small. You mind taking a head on shot to show foot print. Maybe with some spacers.

Took it out for its first offroad shakedown.
Very happy with the JBA lift/tire combo.

Well, so far so good.
With three tanks of gas through it with the new tires, it looks like a 2% increase in MPG.
15.22 to 15.53

I feel so green all of a sudden.

An increase in MPG?!

I'm sold on 215s!

(My '04 originally came with 215/75s. I switched to 245/70s and my MPG fell off of a cliff...)
