Got some new tires last night, Cooper Discoverer A/T3 in 245/70/16. Such a great improvement from the factory Goodyears, definitely felt better in the rain on the way home last night. They look a million times better also in my opinion.

I have been looking at those myself. For my sons truck. He still has MTR's on it, and between College (three hours away) and his Girlfriend (two hours away in the other direction) He needs some At tires.

I have these tires on mine and they're great! I have the 225/75 R16 version because my KK is still at stock height. They look awesome with their aggressive tread pattern. They work really well in the rain and snow, as well as on the trail. And I can still get 22 mpg on the highway.

I am deciding between these LT245/70R716 and Pirelli Scorpions. The Coopers are LR-E and Pirelli are LR-D.

Any reports on how well this tire performs on snow or ice?

Nice! A guy here just put them on his Liberty. I think they look good. I'm actually looking to put them on my Dodge Ram.

Man, alotta people come in and buy that tire in our shop so it can't be that bad. I have always wondered how it was though because I never ran it myself.

255/70/16's I'll tell you how they work in the snow/ice if winter ever decides to get here :ROTFL: In the mean time I can say they are an improvement over the older ATR model. Great in the wet and dirt. Great on-road ride too.

Well, our blizzard is well underway. Several inches of snow. 6-10 predicted for final outcome. The AT3's are doing a very nice job. I'm happy.

I have A/T 3 tires in the 225 size and last winter they handled pretty well in the snow (in Colorado). Of course not as good as dedicated stud-less snow, for those real sketchy mountain passes with many sharp curves.

Bio-Diesel when/where I can. In Houston available at http://www.houstonbiodiesel.com/ and it conforms to ASTM. They also have home brew classes!!

I certainly agree they're not as good as a studded tire. Not many twisty mountain pass roads around here in western ohio :ROTFL: but we do have open farmland county roads where the drifting can eliminate evidence of a road even being there  Awesome photos you got there 06PeakBagger.
