Bought 4 spidertrax spacers for 199.90 from Rokmen Offroad (only place that gave me free shipping to Hawaii)

I need to pound my pinch weld asap (hopefully this weekend) and use my cheap adapter to test the tires while I am waiting for the FEDEX delivery

Well, rokmen fell through, looks like 4wheelparts will be the cheapest in the long run... everyone wants close to 100 to ship the spacers because they ship straight from spidertax.

I did test fit the tires and it looks like it will be very nice once I get more money/time.

Like the title says " JK Rubicon wheels"
have to use adapters since they are a different bolt pattern than the 4.5 inch that KJs/KKs have

What he said!

I picked up some spidertrax at 4wheelparts today, they charged me 8% because we live in Hawaii even though they were in stock, plus tax.... so another 220 bucks added to the 460 already spent (at least I won't have to pay mounting, but I might balance them).

Finished my pinch welds and got all 4 mounted. A little hum and pull to the left, but I sure like them! Pictures tomorrow!

No Jeeper pals, but one guy with a lifted chevy might come. I'd love a GoPro, maybe I just might look at them, maybe at the NEX?

So to wrap this up:

Cost:

JK Wheels with Tires: $400
Set of adapters to mount on the spare: $60
4 x SpiderTrax: $220
Flat repair (the spare JK wheel had a leaky valve stem): $20

Sold my OEM wheels and tires: -$145
Selling my second of two adapeters: -$35

= $520 for my new wheels.... but when these tires wear down I'd be spending more (compared to 16" diameter tires) unless I find another set of JK tires!

Weight:

Weighed stock GY SRA: 46 lbs
Weighed JK Wheel and spidertrax: 76 lbs

30 more lbs per corner. I have yet to run a full tank to measure MPG loss, but I am turning off OD when I go up the steep hwy to work (I wouldn't have to if I didn't have my TCM tune by GDE which locks my TC up at lower RPM)

I am happy with the results!

This looks fantastic.

I just moved to Alaska and i need a new set of rims and tires for ice/snow.
I can not find any of the 16 inch Rubicon moabs.

What was the spidertrax part number that you used? and do you rub under flex?

I used:

WHS013

For the spare tires I bought a cheap set of two off ebay, I can sell you my other if you want it ;)

And the rear doesn't rub with 2.5" bump stop, the front rubs some on the pinch weld area after I flattened it when stuffed at half turning radius. I bet a little more room could be made just be removing the fender liners or using self tapping screws to get it nice and tight next to the body.
