Liberty is moving from daily driver to being towed by RV for use as a grocery getter, short drives and some not to serious off roading, like forest service trails and easy Colorado jeep trails. Looking at BFG Rugged Terrain T/A's,
2 questions; 1. why are the 235 75 16's almost $40 cheaper than the stock size 225 75 16's?
2. Looks like they will fit, not that much bigger, anyone running this size?
Thanks, Richard

Without knowing exactly which ones you are looking at could be Load Range difference.
Check that first
Why the BFGs?

235/75/16s should fit I know they'll fit on my KK and I plan ok getting silent armors in that size when I upgrade from the stockers. As for the rugged terrains, we have those on our f150 and love them although they're a lot bigger 255/70/16. They're wearing very well so far and have tackled everything we've thrown at them and they just look good on the truck. Now it's my grandpas truck and personally I wouldn't have chosen them but he's a very stubborn man like me and they were the only all terrain tires I could talk him into getting so hey it works lol

Thanks for the info, going for BFG's cause of price, a nationaly available brand (we do a lot of traveling in a rv pulling the Liberty), I have an Uncle and Cousin working at the Michelin/BFG pland in Oklahoma and they have driven BFG's for 25+ years with no problems, I do not need the smooth ride of my Michelin Tours, nor the cost at this time, and they have a good rating off road, for the type of driving we do. Don't need the mudders or lugs.
Thanks again, Richard
