Better keep a stock of rack&pinions handy, you'll need them as those tear up R&P's fast.

The Mattracks start at about $26k for the set if I remember correctly for the set that works on a vehicle like the KJ,add another $2000 for the highly recommended steering assist for R&P vehicles.Heck the version made for 4 wheelers run about $5k and ones made for bigger pickups like a F350 and F450's run about $70k.

I was at a job site in Quebec recently where the site vehicles had these www.trucktracks.com. One of their F250s is in the videos. They were prototypes but they were working OK.

People who live about 1,000' - 1,800' feet higher than I do need some type of vehicle with tracks to get up to their homes. Most of them drive up to certain point then take a tractor with tracks the rest of the way up. The fact that someone put tracks on their KJ is pretty cool.
