I know, none of them are the best tires, but money is tight this yr and I should be so lucky to have a tire that is cheap and will seem to last forevvverrrr.
Reason I'm looking at these 3 is because of there availability. Seems like there are good used ones everywhere and i'm ok with used/new to me tires.
I've only had the ST's that came on the liberty, but how do they compare to the sra's or bfg longtrails. If you had to choose between these 3 and why.
Thanks for all your input.

ST / SRAs make real good tire swings
so leaves you with the BFGs which are a little better
personally I'd save for better tires

Price the Hankook ATM's. You may be pleasantly surprised. Great tire.

My :2cents:

I replace the ST's that came on my new-to-me CRD with Firestone Destination LE2 tires and have about 3,000 miles on them so far. Very happy with the choice, they work well on dry or wet pavement, are quiet, and seem to have low rolling resistance like the ST's. Good tire for highway use and reasonably priced.

Just got rid of Capitol Precision Trac ll tires that were on our 2006 Liberty when we bought it used. The tires chipped, cupped, and road hard as a rock with about 30K miles. They are absolute junk chinese tires... …but we knew they were when we bought it.

Replaced with P235 Goodyear ASR Wranglers. So far, so good… :juggle:

Agree.....your tires are the only thing connecting you to the road.

Just an FYI if you have 18s. There are NOT a lot of nice all-terrain and/or off road tires yet available.

I had Firestone Destination A/Ts on my 2005 Liberty and absolutely loved them. A/Ts are not available for my 2012 with 18" wheels. I decided to go with Michelin Latitude® X-Ice® Xi2 winter tires.
