I want 5 of this style in a 15 or 16 inch, 4 inches of back spacing and 7 inches wide
when you find them let me know

Whats the backspacing and width of these ? Do you know??
I could go to a 265-70-17 in the Duratracs But I'll bet the backspacing won't work for me
Like the look though

I missed this question,

They are about 4" back spacing for the 17" OEM wheels 7" wide.

Nothing in 16" that style with less than 5" BS :( but if you can handle 7" wide with 5.25 BS I found some ;)

Yes those are the ones 17x7 about 20mm Offset so maybe closer to 4.5" I would have to measure in person, but I haven't proven if it is 114.3 or 115

If you are junk yard hunting look for the Chrysler 300s WITHOUT AWD (2005-2009ish) those are your best chance!Model Years:

Got them!

They ARE the correct wheels. I did a QUICK check on my spare tire carrier on the RL bumper, they could have been slightly too large (115 vs 114.3) but I will reserve final judgement until I have them on the hubs themselves.

Super cool! Can't wait to see some pics! If they fit, you should get them painted or powder coated!

Yes check that and if they go over the hub ok
Then there should be a manufactures number on them on the back side
Hopefully they are not the wrong ones :banghead: and the 114.3
Are they 17 inch or ?? assuming they are ?

Dang and Tire Rack has 245-70-17s for 109 each right now
31.5 height would work for me ! Rather have taller but for that price
after mail in rebate 376.00

and now they only have 3 :banghead: :banghead:

That would be helpful in identifying what they came off of.

Same stamp as the ones here: 17x7 is stamped but the other dimensions will have to be measured.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/17-DODGE-CHRYSLER-300-05-06-07-08-09-10-11-12-STEEL-WHEEL-OEM-2240-/281144348499?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Wheels&hash=item4175824f53&vxp=mtr

For color choice I am thinking rust-oleum hammered black to match bumpers and flares or add some OD green with a black center cap. The OD green would be on my fuel can and tow hooks.

I quickly measured 5" from hub face to outside lip of rim, is that correct for BS measurement? Or to bead area? These are 7" wide by the way :)

Tom, what do YOU need to be convinced these are proper bolt pattern for the liberty?

hub face to the area where the bead sets , not clear to the outside edge, drop down just a bit to the flat area
If measuring 5 to the outside it must be 4.5 or so ?? maybe

That is showing 5X115
not the KJs 5x114.3mm

So why is 7" width with 4" BS spacing recommended? I find it to be too wide, causing a larger turning radius and more rubbing. I say go narrow as you can go while staying off the sway bar...

If you can stay off the sway bar then that is good, most all soft 8s etc come in like 3 and 3.5 inches of back spacing which is real bad , so 4 is a good number still keeps the tire mostly off the sway bar but not sitting it way out . Lot of them 4 is the closest in they make

Correct. Half the listings state 114.3 others 115... but does the stampings list it?? Nominal size listed in some cross reference doesn't make it true. I need to devise a way to determine if that .7mm difference is there between stock wheels and these. Or if it's just listed that way... any cheap quick accurate methods come to mind?

Gotcha. With MY tires and the jk wheels with 1.25 spacers I am JUST off the sway bar (see picture in my other thread) and that set up I think came to 5" BS so 4.5 will be similar. I could likely fit 265/70r17 just fine.

Do you think stock liberty center caps will fit these or do I need old school wrangler ones?

Not sure if they would fit or not. Been reading up on the differences between the two 114.3 and 115 . Some interesting arguing, seems some people think its OK, me sorry I want the right ones to fit. When you fit them, install 3 lug nuts, skipping every other one, then see the difference in the two lugs without nuts if they sit slightly to one side

This says 5x4.5 :)

How tight should the three lugs be?

And I'll try and take a picture but we are talking about .35 mm on each lug how would I "eyeball" that? I will compare how the spidertrax fit to these wheels.

Given manufacturing tolerences I am worried it will be hard to identify the small variance.
