I am thinking about new wheels for a few different reasons. I am stubborn I want to stick with 17" wheels, 7" width.

#1 Steel ones like these:

#2 7 Spoke OEM style

#3 Keep my current JK Wheels... These require spacers and that is one reason I wanna change out.

#4 Other choices?

You can look for dodge charger wheels if you want to get rid of the spacers but keep 17s or maybe new camaro steel wheels. Camaro v6 steel rims might be 17x8 .

#1 option are steelies from Charger/magnum/300, the number 2 option is from a Chrysler 300

You currently have a good set up. I would only run steelies for off roading. Are you having issues with the spacers? Alignment, bearings, tire wear etc?

Increased vibrations and added weight and extra lugs to worry about are all the normal issues I have had with these and other spacers.

Do you have a picture of these exact rims?

I assume you know that the newer Chargers, 300s etc have a different bolt pattern?
We have a 5X4.5 or 114.3 mm
Newer Chargers etc have a 4.53 or 115 mm

NOW of course we'll have some that will say its not that much and will work
But its enough that it can and will cause issues due to the lug nuts not centering completely
Of course some will run them anyways

You can't go wrong with black steelies with the proper offset.

Aluminum wheels look pretty but aren't available with an offset, they will gouge easily from rocks on the trail and if you live in an area that the use salt on the roads they'll corrode.

Honestly I wasn't sure what to think about the 7/10 of a mm or .35 per hole that it would be off. I was curious as to how one would tell what the actual pattern is... human error with a tape measure might not find a difference. Ebay lists the same wheels as 115 and 5x4.5, how do I know for sure?

Dieselenthusist... I will post a picture soon. There is a set of 4 black steel wheels for $100 but I guess they are really 115 mm

Thanks for the input!

I really like the utilitarian look. A while back someone (I think Tom) posted a white safari looking KK with the utilitarian wheels. I immediately fell in love with it.

Try this
for 17 inch wheels
Ones from a Ford Crown Vic Police Interceptor
2006-2011 , 5 X 114.3 , 7.5 inches wide , manufacturers number 7W7Z1007C
For 16 inch
7 inches wide, 2004-2008, 5W721007AA

trying to find out backspacing now

Thanks Tom, I saw those too. Also the new explorer has similar wheels, and FUSION (but I doubt the fusion has the right BS)

Here is the pic of the Utilitarian style (this is from a charger with the 115 bolt patter, but it is only 7" wide wheel...)

I would prefer the 7" wide for weight savings IF it fit the same as a 7.5" but 5.5" backspacing is too much. I will continue my search!

That's a really nice wheel............ I prefer 7" width rims.

They are abundant and cheap too! Too bad it's not the ideal bolt spacing... going from what I have now (using spidertrax) to 115mm bolt pattern wouldn't be safer.

I can't 100% determine Crown Vic offset, or Ranger wheels. Oh well...I will keep searching.

Crown Vics appear to be 6 inches of backspacing from what I've been able to find, so they are a no go

Yep, I am getting depressed. I guess the KK 17" (17x7 not 7.5) are the only way to go, I just haven't confirmed backspacing. The 255/75r17 are just slightly taller than 265/75r16, but they fit in my wheel wells/fenders nicely. Plus I am stubborn and I like having a different tire size. Using the spacer and JK wheels hasn't been bad, but I am searching for the ideal set up.

Thanks Tom for steering me clear of the 115mm wheels!

Found this online today: According to one guy, some of these wheels ARE 5x114.3 not 115... Here you can see the difference in gauges, 115 in first pic and 114.3 in second.

Too bad I missed out on a set here for 100 bucks! I did find one ebay place that said they would ship them to Hawaii for $250 dollars for 5, that is a good deal!

Not seeing it, they are all the same from everything I have found except for this one guy you found. Makes no sense that they would be changing back and forth.
